The studio has officially announced that free DLC is on its way as a thank you for the game’s fantastic reception.

According to their official site (and reported by Gematsu), players can look forward to new recipes, fresh content designed to “update the world,” and crucially, the ability to fully utilize those powerful high-rarity weapons found in Treasure Groves and other challenging areas.
The enthusiasm is palpable. “Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time” offered early access on May 18 before its full launch on May 21, and it swiftly climbed the Steam charts. With over 3,000 reviews already, the game currently boasts a ‘Very Positive’ user review rating on Steam, attracting both life-sim aficionados and dedicated Fantasy Life fans eager for a new installment.
This early success and the prompt promise of free DLC mark a significant win for Level-5. It comes after a period of transition for the company, including the departure of Keiji Inafune last year which led to Level-5 Comcept’s business operations being transferred to the parent company.
