The satisfying splash of high-pressure water is nearing its final act for the original PowerWash Simulator, as developer FuturLab prepares to hang up its nozzles – but not before one last, gloriously grimy free update. “The time has come to reach our final destination for PowerWash Simulator,” FuturLab announced, marking a bittersweet moment for fans of the endlessly hypnotic cleaning sensation.
In a heartfelt message on their website, the studio extended a “huge thank you” to its dedicated community, “Whether you’ve been with us busting the grime from early access, or hopped aboard the PowerWash hype train somewhere down the line, we’d love to say a huge thank you for enjoying this adventure with us.”
As a final treat, Muckingham Files 6 is now available, bringing two brand-new locations desperately needing a thorough power washing:

Muckingham Subway Station (Revisited): Veterans will recognize the locale, but this time, instead of the infamous tunnels, your target is an extremely grubby train that has pulled into the station. Prepare to de-grime both its exterior and its sullied innards.

Sculpture Park: Under the discerning eye of Darcy d’Arcy, players will restore a collection of “fine” art to its former pristine glory. This includes a imposing Monolith, the intriguing Man of A Thousand Faces, and, in true PowerWash Simulator fashion, a giant gnome – because no send-off is complete without one!
“We hope you enjoy this final PowerWash Simulator update as much as we have enjoyed creating it,” FuturLab concluded. “The team have poured their hearts and souls into creating a world for you all to escape to and clean, somewhere for you to relax and solo clean, or a place to gather with friends and catch up over a satisfying wash.”
This Muckingham Files 6 update, which follows April’s Dessert Parlour addition, is available now on all platforms and includes a fresh batch of bug fixes, as detailed in the official patch notes.
While this marks the end of new content for the original, the PowerWash journey is far from over. PowerWash Simulator 2 is on the horizon, expected to launch later this year for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and potentially the Switch 2. The sequel promises exciting new jobs, fresh layers of dirt to blast away, and a new hub-like HQ.
