Vertiv Deepens NVIDIA Alliance, Launches Key Cooling and Power Tech for GB300 AI Supercomputers

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Vertiv Holdings Co. (NYSE:VRT), a critical player in the global digital infrastructure space, has strengthened its pivotal role in the artificial intelligence revolution by launching a new, purpose-built solution for NVIDIA’s most advanced technology.

On June 11, Vertiv announced the release of a highly energy-efficient 142kW cooling and power reference architecture specifically designed for the NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 platform. This integrated, end-to-end design provides a blueprint for deploying the immense power and cooling required to operate NVIDIA’s next-generation AI supercomputers at peak performance.

This development is part of a deep, ongoing collaboration with NVIDIA that positions Vertiv as a fundamental enabler of the AI factory of the future. Vertiv’s solutions are now available as SimReady 3D assets within the NVIDIA Omniverse Blueprint, a platform for designing and operating AI data centers. This integration allows companies to create customized data center layouts virtually, dramatically reducing planning times and mitigating construction risks.

The new architecture is a core component of the Vertiv™360AI infrastructure platform, a comprehensive portfolio designed to guide customers in deploying power and cooling for high-performance computing (HPC) and AI workloads.

Looking ahead, the partnership is set to tackle even greater power demands. Vertiv is actively supporting the development of 800 VDC data center power infrastructure for racks consuming 1 MW of power and beyond, with these advanced solutions expected to be available starting in 2026.

For investors, this announcement reinforces Vertiv’s position as a crucial “picks and shovels” play in the booming AI sector. By providing the essential infrastructure that allows AI technology to function, Vertiv is often cited as a top long-term investment. While the AI hardware and infrastructure space is competitive, this direct alignment with NVIDIA’s flagship platform solidifies Vertiv’s critical importance in the ecosystem.
